Is Hardcore Harder than Softcore in Diablo III

These days players often ask is hardcore harder than softcore in Diablo III?So after watching several guys streaming in hardcore, Im glad I didnt do it and its all made clear to me its pretty pointless.

1. If a char dies they dont level from scratch, they just ask their friends to exploit quest turn ins ( black soulstone act II nightmare IIRC ) to level up to 60 again. This isnt smart use of game mechanics its just exploiting. After that they get the left overs from same friends and they are back in business again almost as if nothing happened after 10 hours only. What is the whole point of playing it this way ? If you want to cheese then just roll a softcore char and save yourself a lot of trouble. Got to say the big guy who did this ( one of them at least ) had a !@#$ty death from a DC , but hey thats hardcore isnt it ?

2. Non stop exploit farming of treasure goblins / resplandant chests with high MF gear - again if you play it HC isnt it all about "honor" and not about cheesing right back to the top. One chest / goblin nerfed ? Move on the the next until its fixed , np bro ! Part of this problem comes from inferno act II ridiculously set gear check and lot of players naturally being cautious still. Other part of the problem being switching to MF gear , but thats a whole different subject alltogether.

Only diferences between hardcore/softcore is that in hardcore you get different titles and permament death. Mobs are same in sc/hc...

There is no actual difference in the difficulty of the game itself. You're going to fight the same monsters with the same skills and equipment that are available in softcore. However, there is a world of difference in the style of play between not giving two airborne-intercourses if you die, and not being able to die even once.

Is this more difficult? Yes.

---Changing your playstyle to completely avoid getting killed even once is a challenge.

---Accepting it when you do inevitably get killed is a challenge.

---Forcing yourself to understand that getting killed was your own fault, and not the game, is a challenge(lagdeaths not so much).

---Learning from your mistakes and gathering your will to play another HC character after losing one is a challenge.

The HC style of playing is not for everyone. It takes some getting used to, and not everyone is set up to enjoy the journey instead of the destination. This is a game, and there is no shame or stigma attached to playing one way or the other, and anyone who tells you otherwise is an elitist a-hole who is, quite frankly, wrong.

So, the hardcore is not harder than softcore in Diablo III. The only difference is the death difference, if players died in hardcore, it will be permanent death.
